Description

Blum cabinet hinges are proven, high quality hinges made to last. Blum Compact 33 Face Frame Hinges are a two piece concealed hinge featuring side and height adjustment, zinc die cast construction, and a 110° opening angle. Specifically designed for face frame construction, Compact 33 cabinet hinges offer various overlays, from 1/4" to 1 5/8" which are achieved by choosing the appropriate mounting plate listed below. Hinges are sold individually. You will need one mounting plate (sold seperately) for each hinge. For example, if you purchase 50 hinges you will need 50 mounting plates. Attach hinges and mounting plates with #6 wood screws. Blum Compact 33 hinges are also available with pre-attached dowels.

	I totally agree with Jerome from New Jersey. The plastic keeps breaking and hinges need replacing. They don't get much use with only my wife & I using the kitchen most of the time.

	These particular hinges do not conform to the statement "designed to last" typical of most Blum hinges. I blame the use of plastic in the self closing mechanism. It fatigues and breaks off. I've have them on my kitchen cabinets. I keep a supply of spares at all times. I usually have to replace 3 or 4 each year. It's not much work or a big cost to replace them, but I would never use this particular hinge again or any other with a plastic closing mechanism.
